Thinkspace is one of my personal projects, and it's a tool that I use almost every day during the school year. Last year, I
During the school year, I often find myself using the Freeform app on my iPad to study/take notes etc. and also have the same board open on my Mac, to chat with AI about what I'm studying. The problem is, the Freeform app is slow to sync between devices, and there's no way for my agent to interact with what I'm doing. My idea is that I can build a canvas where I can take notes, have it sync in realtime between devices, and directly ask the agent about my work, have it correct me when i'm wrong, create interactives, and all sorts of other things. Thinkspace is that app, and so much more. The interface is intentionally narrow: one primary workflow, a few stable controls, and a layout that avoids making every object compete for attention.
Principles
The product starts with a dense center column and lets supporting controls sit at the edges. The important part is that every row can be scanned without opening a separate panel.
State is shown with text first, then shape, then color. That order keeps the demo readable in screenshots and still clear when motion is reduced.
